Here you’ll receive a brief overview of what our public ICIS has to offer. . .

The TCS Hades (new flagship of CVBG-A), registry no. CAS-01, is a 777-meter Hades-class quick strike cruiser, the first in a line of cruisers the next of which being (tentatively) called the Cerberus. The Hades has big boots to fill with the loss of the TCS Valley Forge and the incoming refugees of officers and pilots from that ship.

Destroyed on 2681.045 in battle against a Nephilim Tiamat-class dreadnought battle group, the TCS Valley Forge, registry no. CV-53, is a Concordia-class fleet carrier (considered a "light" fleet carrier in an age of the Vesuvii and Midway lines). Though this carrier type has come to age and out of date the Concordia-class carriers still represent the ConFleet Space Navy’s major backbone and the most common carrier vessel.

In the main section you will find the logs of recent updates, notes of any changes and all news as well as all vital information on this service, the Hades, the Holding The Line campaign and other WC news if we feel they should be presented here. From main you are linked to our electronic and online on board magazine. This will published upon need, time and content topics as it is run by us in our leisure time (which is not very plentiful in war times) next, but after killing the Bugs; the Xenos; the Nephilim. Our editorial tells you something of the truth all behind, the men who run this, their motivation... the color of their eyes, about why you are here and where you will go... well, etc., blah, blah. Main gets you to here, too.

For more detailed information on the CVBG-As statistics and an overview over assigned units and personnel refer to the profile section. This list will constantly be updated as the Hades and her group battles through the Holding The Line campaign. This list is the executive summary of what and who the Hades' battle group is.

To learn about CVBG-A's Space Force complement see the Fighter Wing section and read about the squadrons that form up the flight wing of the Hades and CVBG-A, the 188th Tactical Fighter Wing / 188th FW, the flight wing being complemented by the destroyed Forge's 71st Tactical Fighter Wing / 71st FW.

The semi-annual casualty report not only reports and lists a summary of CVBG-A's losses in its flight wing and other aligned squadrons (including Naval crewmen and the Hades’s TCMC Marine platoon, the 117th Assault Detachment, formerly the Forge's slain 97th Assault Detachment), but honors our fallen comrades and remember their fellows. Like the names suggests, Confed's standard report procedure on casualties. Since CVBG-A is right in the way and in the midst of a TCIS-shrouded Alien incursion, this report might get filled up rather quickly and therefore cannot be up-to-date all time.

The memorial with its commemoration plaque was demanded as a place to honor our fallen comrades and to mourn. To mourn however the time not is. So it may take a while until the first give in and contribute to this place as to remember their fellows.

Some of Confed’s newest and most powerful capships, 1,200 meter Plunkett-class heavy artillery cruisers and 800 meter Murphy-class destroyers, have been assigned to the carrier. See the CVBG-A battle group. The escorting capships do not have much history yet and these capship classes very only more recently commissioned. Nevertheless read on the stats, the bridge crew, fighter complement.

Some journalistic campaigns and operations from CVBG-A's military record have been made available (fictional recreations of the campaigns to date). Additional background information on units and/or persons from the Forge battle group can be found there, too. Check back regularly as we try to update this section constantly. Right now we are featuring 3 (!) After Action Reports (stories) that are not yet After Action Reports because they will still have to take place. We are doing this to water your mouth for all the great action that is still to come in the current Holding The Line campaign.

Finally we gathered related links worth visiting. If our site, our campaigns and the Holding The Line-fiction-preview worked out its here we you can get more. Join the Wing Commander Aces Club to get decent fiction regularly. Hit the Holding The Line Archive constantly to read on on the campaign and whether we will be, in fact, holding the line (and if how we manage). Fellow HTL companions can be found here and other links you ought to visit.

Well, just check'em all out.
